Trot2.com is the online home of Houghton Equestrian, based in the North East of England. Established over 25 years ago the business incorporates an extremely successful riding centre along with our newer equestrian store opened around 6 years ago. Here at Houghton Equestrian we pride ourselves in providing the highest level of service to both our online customers and visitors to our shop. We employ professional, friendly and helpful staff, who are always available to help you whether in person or via our online service. All of our staff have ridden or competed from a very young age and have a great understanding of our customers and their horses needs. We pride ourselves in ensuring all of our staff are knowledgeable about our products and keep up to date with the very latest products and equestrian innovations. Houghton Equestrian and trot2.com are a family owned business rooted in the equestrian world. It has been owned as such for the past 25 years with vast hands on experience of many aspects of equestrian life. Our owner is a national judge of Trakehner horses, an ex eventer and dressage competitor and a British Horse Society approved instructor. She is committed to all aspects of the business and dedicated to helping all of our customers, whether they be through the riding centre or shop, to achieving the very best they can with their horse no matter what level they are at. With over 5,000 square feet of horse and riding equipment, Houghton Equestrian is of the largest equestrian shops in the North East. Established in 2002 it has grown from strength to strength, currently stocking over 20,000 equestrian products and all at very competitive prices. Our ShopOur shop has over 5,000 square feet of equestrian products, containing everything on this site and more. We stock over 20,000 products including all the top brand names one would expect, and we would love for you to come and visit us! The downstairs of our shop contains everything for the horse and yard including rugs, leather work, electric fencing, bits, feed and supplements. The upstairs is dedicated to the rider containing a huge range of riding hats (which are fitted by approved hat fitters), body protectors, footwear, riding jackets, jodhpurs and a large range of casual clothing.  
How to find usWe are located just outside Newcastle Upon Tyne in the village of Heddon on the Wall, easily accessed from the A1 and A69. Please see the maps below for more details of how to find us. View Larger Map We are open 7 days a week, 9am - 5.30pm except Saturdays when we close at 4.30pm and Sundays when we close at 3pm. ShowsWe have become well known at shows in our region for the fantastic 40ft x 30ft marquee we take to events such as the Corbridge and Lincoln County Shows and Hexham Horse Trials. We take as much stock as we can to these events and always have fantastic bargains on offer. Our team of staff are on hand to help and any items we don't have with us on the day can be ordered.
